Why it exists, who maintains it, what's on it now and what isn't yet.

Purpose

A small, careful, multi-generational record of the Buchman / Buchmann / Bookman family, descended from Zvi Buchmann of Klykoliai. Quietly reverent, archival in tone, public where it can be and private where it should be.

Governance

The site is maintained by branch curators — one or two family members per major branch with edit rights to their subtree. Branch curators are listed below. Editorial decisions about the site as a whole sit with the editorial group.
